Obama or McCain? Most important, did you vote? You do want your voice “heard”? I’ll bet you do! The best way to do this is to participate in voting process. That is especially true for AAD’s election this coming weekend. I must stress the importance of your participation in the process. We are currently at the stage where the future of AAD needs to be decided. We have everything in place including constitution and by laws. What’s left for us to do? Take an action. We need to embrace our foundation and ensure AAD stay strong for another 50 years. See you around at AAD! President Alex Calogar If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitant to contact one of us. All officers and board of governors have their email addresses. You can look up at our website and find the email addresses in www.austindeafclub.orgBoard of Governor Chairman’s Desk In AAD’s last month newsletter, I wrote about duties of Board of Governors (BOG) and I hope you had the whole month to digest the article. I’m delighted to say that all BOG pitched in their time in assisting AAD’s officers and volunteers with annual homecoming event. The event went very, very good – awesome turnout and good sales…thanks to co-chairladies Melissa and Connie for their hard work. Hand-waves!!! Now, you, the members, if you have any concern, compliments, complaints or whatever regarding AAD officers or members or anything that require BOG’s immediate attention, please write a note and give it to one of five BOG. We’ll review it and if action is required then we’ll act upon it. Of course, BOG hopes it’ll never see such a note and hoping that AAD members’ best interest is still in good hands. Have a wonderful November…Hook ‘Em Horns! Board of Governor Chairman Ronny Taylor ~AAD Newsletter Editor's Corner~ Hello AAD Members and Newsletter Subscribers!
