Games

Mexican Train (first Friday of the month)

Picture
A game of dominos; a team of 8 players meet to enjoy the games.  The players help Austin Deaf Club by donating $1 per player.  There are at least three permanent teams already formed with 8 players. If you are interested, you need to form a team of 8 players and join the fun.

The object of all Trains games is to be the first player to place all of their dominoes. Dominoes may be placed onto the player's train, onto the Mexican train if available, or on the trains of other players under special circumstances.

TINGO dealer draw a card and it show the suit and number. One of the four players has the same card and takes it out. One player has to takes all 13 cards out to win the game. TINGO has five rounds and one bonus round with more than 60 players. Simple and fun!  HORNS is played the same way as TINGO, but on different day.

TOTTO is like a lottery. The players get to choose a number and sign on the TOTTO sheet before the TINGO game begins. In middle of the TINGO game, the dealer will draw one number out of 1-100. When the number is announced, the dealer will look at the TOTTO sheet to find out who has the same number to win the prize.

BankNight (second Saturday of the month after the regular business meeting)

Picture
This event happens after the Regular Business Meeting on a monthly basis. The BankNight has two parts: Member Chips and Tickets.

The members have the chips of their membership numbers shown on their AAD ID card on the chips. All numbers are placed on the chips and the chips are put into a large screened "barrel". The members in turn will be asked to draw one chip with the number and find out who has the same numbers to win the prize. The members MUST BE PRESENTED AND CLAIM THE PRIZES. If the members are not presented, the prizes will increase for next month's drawing.

The tickets can be bought through the night before and after the Regular Meeting. The tickets are like lottery. The players will try their luck to win prizes. The tickets are drawn after the Members' prizes.
