Hello Everybody!
As you know, last Sunday we did major clean up at clubhouse.
We are not done. Shuffleboard hasn’t been removed completely. We need to cut it apart and dump it into garbage bin.
This need to be done on Thursday (March 3rd). The garbage bin is scheduled to be pick up on Friday.
Please meet at AAD at 6 PM. We need to clean everything up before this weekend. There’s a lot of events this weekend.
If you have circular saw or reciprocate saw, please bring it with you. We will cut shuffleboard apart so it would be easier for us to remove it and put it in garbage bin.
See you all there tomorrow at 6 PM.
Thank you
Alex

DEATH

JANICE DOLAN GUERRERO, age 29, passed away on December 16, 2010 on her sister, Audrey McCann’s birthday after a long brave battle with Sarcoma Cancer.

This is Charlene and Jack Giacona’s precious daughter, Janice.

Janice was born on March 31, 1981 in Baltimore, Maryland to Charlene Giacona. She moved to Austin at the age of 5. While growing up she went to Bowie High School and graduated in 1999. Janice has lived most of her life here in South Austin. Janice was well known for her thoughtfulness as she showed her love through creating things such as homemade cards with her own hands. She also loved to do outdoors activities such as fishing, hunting and camping with her family.

Janice used to work for Community By Hand for over a year as an interpreter. Deaf people love her and she was so sweet lady while worked for them.

Janice’s trials with cancer (Hodgkins & Sarcoma) were extremely difficult yet she faced them with no much courage, grace and strength. She continued to strive for the best and went on with her life with her loved ones especially with her children. Her optimism and determination were an inspiration for her loved ones and she became a role model for many people.

Janice is survived by her husband, Allen Guerrero; her children: Savannah and Jocelyn Riddles, Patrick, Kaycee, and Carter Guerrero; her parents: Jack and Charlene Giacona; her parents-in-law: Oscar and Betty Guerrero; her grandmother: Bernice Giacona; her brothers and sisters: Jacklene Young, Effie Dolan, Joseph Giacona, Marlene Etkie, Russell Dolan, and Audrey McCann; her Guerrero-in-laws and their families; her godparents: Daniel and Alanna George; as well as more than 20 cousins, nieces and nephews and their extended families.

BIRTH

Connie and Butch Dannels are pleased to share the joy that they became grandparents of Brogan Downs 8lbs 2oz and 20 long on Dec. 28, 2010. Daughter Ambrosia “Amber”, Son-in-law Justin and Grandson Brogan are doing well. Connie is with them in Georgia for few weeks. Congratulations, Connie and Butch!
